PR23. Be able to use in production and social activities the fundamental concepts and categories of state formation to substantiate their own worldviews and political beliefs, taking into account the processes of socio-political history of Ukraine, legal principles and ethical norms.

Full-time form

Be able to collect and interpret information about phenomena and events of the world and culture, understand the essence of philosophical problems, topics, ideas, be able to analyze philosophical and scientific texts; Have basic skills in perception and analysis of information; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural events and phenomena.

The academic discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to introduce students to the worldview and methodological culture accumulated by humanity throughout the history of its existence, to show the holistic, integrative nature of knowledge about the world around us, to emphasize the fundamental importance for each person of his free worldview self-determination, the choice of an active life position, the creation of good by strengthening the state and society through his own activities. Philosophy for future specialists in the specialty "Biotechnology and Bioengineering" is a worldview and at the same time methodological basis, on the basis of which the assimilation of humanitarian, general educational, fundamental and applied disciplines takes place. To a large extent, it is thanks to it that it becomes possible for students' consciousness to go beyond the limits of narrowly professional training, to focus on universal human values.
