Learning outcomes
PR05. Be able to analyze regulatory documents (state and industry standards, technical conditions, guidelines, etc.), compile separate sections of technological and analytical documentation for biotechnology products of various purposes; analyze technological situations, choose rational technological solutions.
PR23. Be able to use fundamental concepts and categories of state formation in production and social activities to substantiate one's own ideological positions and political beliefs, taking into account the processes of the socio-political history of Ukraine, legal principles and ethical norms.
PR24. Be able to apply modern methods and approaches to the creation of recombinant molecules and manipulation of cells of various origins to create biotechnology products.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "Microbiology", "Biochemistry", "Molecular and Biological Basics of Biotechnology".
2. be able to work with information databases, independently process scientific and methodological literature.
3. Possess basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in a biological laboratory.
Course content
The academic discipline "Microbial synthesis" covers the issues of basic microbiological production of biologically active substances, mechanisms of regulation of metabolism of producers to ensure supersynthesis of target products.
