PR 23. Be able to use fundamental concepts and categories of state-building in production and social activities to justify their own worldview positions and political beliefs, taking into account the processes of social and political history of Ukraine, legal principles and ethical norms.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: 1.1 the main directions of the world historical process; 1.2 the most commonly used concepts and terms of historical science; 1.3 territorial and temporal dimensions of Ukrainian history, have an idea of ​​its periodization; 1.4 main events that took place in the Ukrainian lands during their historical development. 2. Be able to: 2.1 formulate their own view of history as a science, navigate the basic methodological principles of historical knowledge; 2.2 work with educational literature and various sources of studying the history of Ukraine; 2.3 analyze the course of major historical events in the Ukrainian lands in the context of European and world history; 2.4 understand the importance of socio-political, economic, cultural and religious factors in the historical process in the Ukrainian lands. 3. Have basic skills in forming and substantiating independent conclusions about the historical process in Ukraine.
Course content
The discipline highlights the main stages of the formation of Ukrainian statehood; analyzes political, economic, social, religious, and cultural phenomena and processes that both contributed to the construction of Ukrainian statehood and were factors in its loss; determines their conditions and cause-and-effect context; reveals the peculiarities of state-building processes at certain stages of national history; examines national state-building processes in the context of global, general civilizational dimensions.
