PR01. Understand the social and economic consequences of the introduction of the latest developments in the field of biology in professional activities. PR02. Apply modern information technologies, software and Internet resources to provide information for professional activities. PR03. Plan, carry out, analyze data and present the results of experimental research in the field of biology. PR04. Communicate orally and in writing on professional issues using scientific terms accepted in the professional environment, in the state and foreign languages. PR07. Possess methods of self-education and self-improvement. Be able to design a trajectory of professional growth and personal development, applying the acquired knowledge. PR09. Adhere to the provisions of biological ethics, rules of biological safety and biological protection in the process of learning and professional activities. PR21. Analyze information about the diversity of living organisms.

1. Successful mastering of the academic disciplines "Botany", "Fundamentals of ecology and nature protection", "Bioorganic chemistry", "Biochemistry", "Plant physiology". 2. The ability to independently apply knowledge of botany, plant physiology, biochemistry, etc. academic disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; to work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of working with literature, documents, materials of scientific bases.

The discipline "Biology of Medicinal Plants" covers the following issues: features of the accumulation of medicinal substances in plants; the dependence of the physiological action of the herbal preparation on its chemical composition; plants used for the treatment and prevention of diseases, strengthening mental and physical performance, treatment diseases of the digestive, respiratory, nervous, endocrine and cardiovascular systems; plants that have antibacterial, antiviral, fungicidal, insecticidal action; plants rich in vitamins, oils, bitters, antidiabetic action, poisonous plants and first aid to victims of poisonous plants; regulation of terms and methods of collection, procurement and storage of medicinal raw materials.
