Learning outcomes
To know the current stage of development of the Ukrainian literary language; the meaning of the state statute of the Ukrainian literary language; the history of the formation of the Ukrainian literary language; differential features of the Ukrainian literary language; the concepts of language norms, literary language norms, customary norms, stylistic norms; trends in the development of the Ukrainian literary language. To be able to analyze texts of scientific, official-business style and mass media style; independently create texts of various genres; analytically process and summarize scientific texts.

Before starting this course, students should know the basic level of the requirements for bachelor's graduates.
Course content
The academic discipline "Ukrainian Language for Academic Tasks" is designed to help students gain a systematic understanding of the Ukrainian literary language, its functional resource, and historical aspects of its development. The selected educational material is dedicated to studying the problem of codification of the literary language, issues of codification and stylistic differentiation of the modern Ukrainian literary language.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Oral report at seminars, participation in discussions, independent work, test.
Assessment methods and criteria
The course ends with a test, the grade is given on a 100-point system taking into account the grades received in the semester.
