Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must know: the basics of programming in C/C++, the basics of building computer systems, the basics of mathematical and physical disciplines at the level of the first year of the master's degree at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The student must be able to: develop programs in C/C++, work with computer systems at the bachelor's degree at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Course content
The basics of creating programs using standard algorithms and data structures, the basics of developing distributed programs, including for the Internet, the basics of network technologies, and the main applications of these approaches for telemedicine and medical informatics are provided.

Assessment methods and criteria
Final assessment - in the form of an exam, Written exam form with practical tasks. The task consists of 4 questions, the questions are evaluated for 10 points. In total, you can get from 0 to 40 points for the exam. The task performance, knowledge of terms, including in English, and understanding of the principles of building technologies are evaluated. The condition for achieving a positive grade for the discipline is to receive at least 60 points. In the case of successful completion of all individual tasks for the semester, an additional 40 points are awarded for grades of 7 points and above without taking a written exam. Conditions for admission to the exam: the condition for admission to the exam is that the student receives a total of no less than the critical minimum for the semester - 40 points.
