Learning outcomes
Know the lexical minimum for receiving, producing and exchanging general and professional information. Know the grammatical forms and structures necessary for effective communication. Know the structure and rules for constructing oral and written discourse. Know the ways of observing academic integrity; moral, cultural and scientific values. Be able to correctly and contextually appropriate at the level of words, phrases and supra-phrase unity use lexical units related to topics of everyday life and professional activity in all types of speech activity. Be able to consciously and correctly use grammatical forms; freely and coherently produce linear-structural utterances during a conversation or discussion.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The prerequisite for studying the discipline is the successful completion of the test in English and, as a result, the ability to operate with knowledge and skills previously formed during the study of a foreign language at level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) and the material of the 1st semester.
Course content
English for Academic Purposes is a mandatory subject for master's students of the 1st year of study, and is a component of the educational and professional program for the training of specialists at the educational classification level "Master". It ensures the personal and professional development of applicants.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Oral individual and frontal questioning is carried out at each practical lesson. Tasks for the SRS are completed independently in extracurricular time. The final test includes receptive types of language activity - speaking and writing.
Assessment methods and criteria
The study of the discipline is completed with a differentiated test, oriented in its requirements to level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR). To be admitted to the test, students must complete the minimum program tasks and score at least 36 points. The maximum score on the test is 40 points. The test consists of 2 parts - oral and written.
