The major works of Roman epic and lyric representatives are examined through comparative analysis, utilizing original source texts.

Oral response, contribution to discussion, participation in debate, open-ended written test, creative assignment (essay, reader's review), final assessment (multiple-choice test)
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is based on a 100-point scale, with a minimum of 60 points required for a "Pass." The criteria encompass oral responses, participation in discussions, open-ended written tests, creative assignments (essays, reviews), and a final test. Points are awarded based on the student's mastery of the material, the quality of their argumentation, the use of literature, and the reliability of their research. Oral responses and discussions evaluate scientific communication skills, while written assignments assess analytical proficiency. The final test is considered successful if more than 60% of the tasks are completed correctly. The total grade is the sum of points earned for both in-class performance and independent work. The credit is awarded based on semester results without additional assessment procedures. In cases of absence, students must complete written assignments for the missed practical sessions. Students scoring below 60 points do not receive a passing grade.
