Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is delivered through practice-based sessions using communicative and competency-based approaches. Activities include interactive tasks, role plays, discussions, debates, and simulations of everyday and professional communication. Strong emphasis is placed on working with authentic materials (audio, video, and written texts), as well as on developing critical thinking and intercultural communication skills. Teaching methods combine explanatory input with problem-based, project-based, and research-oriented learning. Students engage in both individual and collaborative work, including presentations, written assignments (essays, reports), translation tasks, and the use of digital learning resources. Independent study involves systematic engagement with course materials, preparation for classes, completion of individual assignments and projects, and the development of autonomous learning skills.
