Master’s Degree Paper verifies and confirms the ability to carry out a literary analysis of works of art using the latest methodologies, as well as modeling the methodological component of implementing research results into the educational process in secondary education institutions.
Course content
Master’s Degree Paper represents a scientific and research component of the educational program and involves conducting independent scientific research in the field of literary studies with a mandatory methodological component. The Paper is aimed at testing professional knowledge in the subject area and is designed to definitively identify the level of knowledge of foreign literature, as well as teaching methods, by specialists receiving an educational degree - master. The preparation of the Master's Degree Paper includes the stages of choosing and approving the topic, consulting with the scientific supervisor, collecting material, processing sources and scientific theoretical, methodological and critical literature, drawing up a plan, writing the Paper, testing individual research provisions (preparation of theses, conferencereport, writing an article), appropriate design of the qualification work and defense.
