PLO 8. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 10. Know the norms of literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and English languages ​​and two Western European languages. PLO 12. Analyze language units, determine their interaction and characterize the linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The academic discipline “The Third Language. Spanish” in the 6th semester assumes successful mastery of the previuos course in the 5th semester.
Course content
The academic discipline “The Third Language. Spanish." is a component of the professional training course of the Bachelor's degree of the specialty 035 “Philology”. This is an elective discipline for students studying in the educational and professional program “English Studies and Two Foreign Languages​ ​(English as the language of instruction)”. The discipline is taught in 6 semesters in the amount of 10 credits for 136 hours of practical classes and 164 hours of independent work. The course includes 2 content modules and 2 final module tests. The form of semester assessment is an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
The semester score is formed by the scores obtained by the student in the process of assessing the mastery of the material on all topics of the content module, the practical mastery of speech skills and abilities, as well as tests and examinations. As a result, the average scores for answers to practical classes, tests, essays and presentations are added to the scores for module tests (60) and to the scores for the exam (40). The final exam consists of a written and oral part.
