Learning outcomes
The objectives of the discipline "Designing territorial development schemes for tourism and recreation" are to provide/deepen general and professional competencies provided for by the educational program "Economic Geography", in particular: - the ability to apply knowledge in practical situations; the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources; the ability to exercise one's rights and obligations as a member of society, to realize the values ​​of a civil (free democratic) society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of man and citizen in Ukraine.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: - basics of socio-economic geography; - basic provisions of recreational geography and theory of recreational systems; - knowledge of landscape science and physical geography; - understanding of the principles of sustainable development and environmental safety. - basics of territorial planning and regional development; - principles of functional zoning of territories; - understanding of urban planning documentation; - basics of management of nature conservation and recreational areas.
Course content
The academic discipline "Design of territorial development schemes for tourism and recreation" is aimed at forming in theoretical knowledge and practical skills in spatial analysis, planning and design of the development of tourist and recreational territories of various hierarchical levels. The discipline examines the patterns of territorial organization of tourism and recreation, methods of assessing the natural, historical, cultural and socio-economic potential of territories, as well as the principles of forming functional and planning structures of tourist and recreational systems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is carried out throughout the semester for all types of work, including independent work. The discipline ends with a test. Semester assessment: the number of points that a student receives during the semester is the sum of the points that were obtained during the assessment at seminars, surveys and the performance of thematic tests. Organization of assessment: a survey in test and written form is carried out after the completion of teaching each topic. Tests are carried out in written form in the form of open questions.
