Learning outcomes
PRN9. Understand the main features of the modern global and national economy, institutional structure, and directions of the state's social, economic, and foreign economic policy. PRN10. Analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, determine functional areas, calculate relevant indicators that characterize the effectiveness of their activities. PRN12. Apply acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and interpret the results obtained in a meaningful way. PRN26. Apply information about the latest phenomena and processes occurring in the international economic system and form strategies for the activities of its entities in a global environment.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the essence and mechanisms of macroeconomic processes, the essence and mechanisms of processes in the international economic system, the peculiarities of the activities of international organizations in the field of trade. 2. Be able to: work with international databases, calculate economic indicators, process statistical data, analyze statistical information. 3. Possess basic skills: use Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel.
Course content
The curriculum consists of the following content modules: 1. Content module 1 “Regulation of international trade.” The module covers issues related to the content of international trade, basic theories of international trade, foreign trade policy, and the global trading system. 2. Content module 2 “Features of the Organization of International Trade.” This module examines the features of the organization of trade in raw materials, finished products, and services, methods of international trade and trade aspects of intellectual property rights, and the formation of global value chains.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: assessment is carried out throughout the semester for all types of work, including independent work, essays, group work, and individual assignments. 1. Module 1: quizzes, group assignments, independent assignments, module test (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points). 2. Module 2: quizzes, group assignments, independent assignments, module test (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points). 3. Completion and presentation of an individual analytical assignment (Min. 12 points, Max. - 20 points). Final assessment in the form of an exam. Maximum number of points - 40 points. Minimum number of points added to the semester score - 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam).
