Learning outcomes
PRN4. Understand the principles of economic science and the peculiarities of economic systems. PRN6. Use professional arguments to convey information, ideas, problems, and ways to solve them to specialists and non-specialists in the field of economic activity. PRN10. Analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, determine functional areas, calculate relevant indicators that characterize the effectiveness of their activities. PRN12. Apply acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and interpret the results obtained in a meaningful way. PRN14. Identify and plan opportunities for personal professional development. PRN15. Demonstrate basic creative and critical thinking skills in research and professional communication. PRN16. Be able to use data, provide arguments, critically evaluate logic, and draw conclusions from scientific and analytical texts on economics.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the content and principles of organizing the activities of institutions, organizations, and companies of various forms of ownership engaged in international activities, transnational companies, banking and other financial and credit institutions, trade and logistics structures; be able to show initiative and independence in various situations; critically assess phenomena and processes in the functioning of the international economic system as a whole and at the level of economic entities involved in international economic relations; draw appropriate conclusions and make informed management decisions. 2. Possess public speaking skills.
Course content
Industrial practice is an integral part of the training of higher education seekers with a Bachelor's degree in specialty 051 “Economics” of the educational program “International Economics.” Industrial practice is aimed at deepening and consolidating the theoretical knowledge acquired by students during their studies; acquiring and improving practical skills and abilities; forming and developing students' professional ability to make independent decisions in specific professional situations; mastering modern methods and forms of work organization in their future specialty. It provides for continuity and consistency in obtaining the appropriate amount of practical knowledge and skills in accordance with the specialty profile. In practice, students study in depth the production, financial, marketing, and international activities of the practice site, search for ways to improve financial and economic work, calculate their economic effect, identify existing reserves, in their opinion, and justify proposals for their implementation for a specific enterprise, commercial bank, institution, or organization. To complete their industrial training, students are sent to enterprises, organizations, and institutions that are equipped with highly qualified personnel and the latest technical equipment and meet the requirements of the training program. The duration of the industrial training is determined by the curriculum, and the dates are determined by the academic calendar for the corresponding year.

Internship at a company, writing a report.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment is determined taking into account the timeliness of submission of the necessary documents from the internship, the quality of the prepared report, the completion of the individual assignment, the supervisor's feedback, the characteristics of the applicant from the internship database, the level of knowledge, and the defense of the internship report.
