Know the basic principles of natural and socio-geographical sciences, in particular the properties and patterns of development of the geographical shell and its structural units (landscape complexes), the course of exogenous and endogenous processes, human influence on the natural environment and the consequences of such influence, features of the territorial distribution of the population and the economy. 3. The course covers the concepts of the tasks, the place of historical landscape studies in the system of geographical sciences and its development, and key theoretical principles. The peculiarities of nature use in different periods of the development of society are considered on the example of Ukraine: during the Stone Age, the Eneolithic and Bronze Age, Kievan Rus, the Lithuanian-Polish and Hetmanate eras, the imperial era, and the Soviet Union.
