Know: Stages and indicators of geological and economic assessment of RCC; methods of geological and economic assessment at the initial stages of geological exploration; methods of detailed geological and economic assessment of mineral deposits. Be able to: Identify and conduct a quantitative assessment of geological risks, as well as determine the amount of industrial and operational reserves of minerals

Successful completion of the course "Fundamentals of Economic Geology and the Use of Mineral Resources", "Structural Geology and Geomapping", "Fundamentals of Mineralogy and Crystallography", "Higher Mathematics" or similar in content
Course content
The course introduces modern methods and tools for geological and economic assessment of subsoil areas at various stages of geological and technical and economic study, as well as methods for valuing mineral deposits. The features of geological and economic assessment for various geological and industrial types of mineral deposits are also considered.

Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students' academic activities are assessed on a 100-point scale.
The grade is given for the 5th semester based on the results of the student's work during the 5th semester, which includes points for practical work and control module work. The applicant's independent work is also assessed.
