Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the key provisions of computer science, topography and geodesy, general geographical disciplines, and the basics of GIS.
2. Be able to apply mathematical and statistical methods in geography.
3. Have basic skills in working in an information and network environment.
Course content
It provides for the study of theoretical principles and practical application of geoinformation technologies in the field of geoecology and assessment of the potential of ecosystem services. The discipline contributes to the formation of practical skills in the integration of GIS into geoecological research and expands the capabilities of higher education students in interdisciplinary analysis necessary for the assessment of ecosystem services, management of natural resources and adaptation to climate change.
