1. Use professional Ukrainian language orally and in writing (PR02). 2. Use information technologies and models in the field of Earth sciences, geoecology, and organization of ecosystem services (PR04). 3. Be able to conduct research on geospheres using quantitative analysis methods (PR09). 4. Know and apply theories, paradigms, concepts, and principles in Earth sciences, according to specialization (PR12). 5. Understand basic ecological laws, rules, and principles of environmental protection, nature management, and organization of ecosystem services (PR16).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the disciplines "General Geology", "Hydrology", "Fundamentals of Fundamental and Applied Ecology", "Introduction to University Studies". 2. Be able to establish the nature of the relationships between the causes of occurrence, consequences and ways to solve problems of ecosystem protection and avoiding degradation of their services. 3. Be able to analyze the negative consequences of unregulated human economic activity from the perspective of assessing ecosystem services. 4. Know the basic theoretical provisions of the concept of ecosystem services, options for their classification and methods of assessment for the purpose of further monetization and marketing.
Course content
This academic discipline is dedicated to the study of the basic principles of the concept of ecosystem services (ES), their classifications according to various characteristics and assessment methods, important for mastering the basics of the theory and methodology of ecosystem services marketing. The discipline "Theoretical and methodological principles of ecosystem services marketing" is aimed at deepening theoretical knowledge and applied skills regarding the concept of ecosystem services, necessary for assessing the scale of damage to society due to the degradation of natural ecosystems, the formation of special professional, social and personal competencies in students, the accumulation of knowledge regarding the ability to think critically, analyze and synthesize, the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, the ability to identify, formulate and solve numerous problems in the process of applying the acquired knowledge in practice.
