2.1. Know the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, general provisions of various branches of law and in general the basics of jurisprudence. Know the provisions of the theoretical foundations of the legal principles of the formation and implementation of environmental law and environmental legislation within the limits stipulated by the course program. 2.2. Be able to apply the acquired knowledge regarding the legal regulation of relations in the field of use of natural resources, environmental protection, ensuring environmental safety; solve the main practical tasks related to the application of the norms of environmental legislation and environmental law, etc. 2.3. Have elementary skills in the analysis and characterization of regulatory legal acts that regulate relations in the field of nature use, protection

The discipline "Environmental Legislation and Environmental Law" is a mandatory academic discipline of the educational program for the preparation of bachelors in the specialty 103-Earth Sciences. The forms of teaching and methods of teaching of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis and studying environmental legislation and environmental law. Within the framework of the academic discipline, the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Environmental Protection", resource codes and laws of Ukraine, environmental legislation of Ukraine, including subordinate regulatory legal acts - decrees of the President of Ukraine, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of central executive bodies that regulate ecological and legal relations aimed at the implementation of environmental rights of citizens, environmental protection, ensuring ecological safety and the use of natural resources are studied. Among them are the provisions of land, water, forest, fauna, mining, atmospheric protection, nature reserve, resort, recreational legislation, legislation on the ecological network of Ukraine, legislation in the field of ensuring the ecological safety of Ukraine, etc., as well as the provisions of the theory of environmental law within the limits determined by the course program. The course of the academic discipline provides for the study by students of the current environmental legislation of Ukraine, legal literature, basic concepts and special terminology of environmental law.
