Learning outcomes
1. PRN16. Understand the basic ecological laws, rules and principles of environmental protection, nature management, and the organization of ecosystem services. 2. PRN17. Understand the basic concepts, theoretical and practical problems in the field of natural sciences that are necessary for analysis and decision-making in the field of geoecology, environmental protection, optimal nature management, and the organization of ecosystem services.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the key provisions of fundamental and applied geoecology. 2. Be able to apply mathematical and statistical methods in geography. 3. Have basic skills in working in an information and network environment.
Course content
The first content part examines the basics of searching, storing, entering, editing, processing, manipulating, analyzing, visualizing, disseminating, and exchanging information in the global information space. The second content part studies the basics of geoinformatics, the phenomenon of open spatial data, which forms knowledge and skills in higher education students related to the study of geospace as a holistic system of heterogeneous objects with their properties and various ways of representation.
