P02. Know and understand the main types of geographical activities, their division in general and in particular in the field of transboundary ecological cooperation. P05. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences for the needs of transboundary, national, regional and local complex ecological projects. P014. Use the management principles on which the system of national and transboundary ecological security is based. P016. Identify the factors that determine the formation of landscape and biological diversity at different spatial and temporal levels.

- successful mastery of the disciplines "Protected Areas" and "Landscape Ecology"; - be able to provide a comprehensive physical and geographical description of the territory, select and critically analyze information and cartographic data sources.

integral discipline, which prepares future specialists for specific practically-oriented activities in the field of management of transboundary nature conservation areas, development of a national ecological network and its integration into the All-European one. These tasks are extremely relevant for our state in view of the desire to join the European community, which requires thorough training of specialists in various fields, including the field of nature conservation. Therefore, this discipline is oriented towards international standards and approaches in the field of nature conservation activities, which is reflected in the thematic structure of lectures and seminars. The discipline considers the theoretical and methodological principles of the functioning of transboundary nature conservation areas in Ukraine, the main directions and problems of the development of this area of ​​nature conservation.
