Learning outcomes
LO01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences. LO04. Use information technologies, cartographic and geo-informational models in the field of Earth sciences, in particular in soil science. LO08. Justify choices and use field and laboratory methods to analyze natural and anthropogenic systems and objects. LO13. Be able to communicate the results of activities to a professional audience and the general public, make presentations and messages. LO15. Be able to choose optimal methods and tools for research, data collection and processing.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Mastering the disciplines "Landscape Science", "Spatial Planning Methodology", "Fundamentals of Geoecology". 2) To be able to research and analyze the urban space on different information slices, evaluate natural conditions and resources, select valuable natural objects for the formation of a recreational area. 3) Possess GIS, skills in the analysis of cartographic materials, Earth remote sensing materials, and construction of thematic maps.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals theoretical, methodological and applied issues of spatial planning of agro-player, in particular: Determination of functional zones: division of the territory into zones for agricultural production, preservation of natural landscapes, recreation and other activities. Sustainable development: planning is aimed at achieving the balance between economic needs, social well -being and environmental resistance of agro -territories. Documentation: includes the creation of comprehensive plans for spatial development of territorial communities, which are both urban planning and land management documentation. Involvement of local communities: territorial communities play a key role, turning into entities responsible for planning their development.

Assessment methods and criteria
Examination in test, oral and written form. The maximum number of credit points is 40 points, the minimum number of points to be added to semester credits is 24 points. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points, are not allowed to take the test. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points.
