Learning outcomes
РLO01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences. РLO04. Use information technologies, cartographic and geo-information models in the region earth sciences, in particular in soil science. РLO08. Justify choices and use field and laboratory methods to analyze natural and anthropogenic systems and objects. РLO13. To be able to communicate the results of activities to a professional audience and the general public, to do presentations and messages.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Know the theoretical foundations of natural disciplines: "geology", "geomorphology", "hydrology", "soil science", "cartography", "Fundamentals of land relations". 2) be able to observe, compare and analyze information on different information sections, summarize and systematize the acquired knowledge. 3) have the skills of analysis of cartographic materials, materials of remote sensing of land and urban planning documentation.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals the natural, historical, legal, environmental, economic aspects of development of the territory and the world practice of land use. The structure of the discipline involves the study of the impact of land use systems on sustainable spatial development.

Assessment methods and criteria
Survey in the form of test, oral and written lecture, KW, credit. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less than 36 points (recommended minimum), writing essays on missed or insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to the credit. The final assessment in the form of an credit is conducted in a written format. The maximum number of points on the credit is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 24 points.
