Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of scientific, theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of the "Bachelor" educational level. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics, etc. 3. Possess elementary skills in conducting analytical evaluation of research results conducted in the fields of biology to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
Course content
The discipline is a component of the cycle of professional training of specialists of the educational and qualification level "bachelor" in the direction of "biology". The discipline is a basic discipline that covers the issues of bioinformatics methods and their use in genetics. The discipline is designed to generalize the student's understanding of modern bioinformatics methods and is aimed at preparing students to perform modern bioinformatics research using advanced tools and technologies. The discipline will prepare students for a successful career in the field of genetics and bioinformatics, providing them with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to work with large volumes of biological data.
