Learning outcomes
Conduct an analysis of diverse information sources for web mapping. Apply in practice 10 theoretical principles of web cartography in the process of creating electronic cartographic works. Use the functionality of software used on the Internet for interactive mapping and presentation of cartographic works. Apply a systematic approach when studying the main theoretical provisions of the course.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
successful study of professionally oriented disciplines of the curriculum of the first level of higher education: “Introduction to Geoinformatics”, “Fundamentals of GIS and Databases”, “Fundamentals of Programming Professionally Oriented Tasks”.
Course content
The curriculum of the academic discipline consists of the following content parts: 1. “Communication capabilities of the Internet”. 2. “Mapping using telecommunications networks”.

current (semester) assessment (practical work (minimum grade 24, maximum 40; tests (6 – 10); independent work (5 – 10)); – final (final) assessment in the form of an exam (grade for knowledge of theory (minimum 12, maximum 20 points); grade for the practical part (13 – 20).
