Learning outcomes
PLO 10 Select and apply tools, equipment, facilities and software necessary for remote, ground, field and desk research in the field of geodesy and land management. PLO 12 Develop land management documentation, cadastral documentation and land assessment documentation using computer technologies, geographic information systems and digital photogrammetry, fill the state land, urban planning and other cadastres with data. PLO 15 Develop and make effective decisions regarding professional activities in the field of geodesy and land management, including under conditions of uncertainty. PRN16 Know the theoretical foundations of geodesy, higher and engineering geodesy, topographic and thematic mapping, compilation and updating of maps, remote sensing of the Earth and photogrammetry, land management, real estate valuation and land cadastre

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of basic theoretical provisions and practical results directly related to the course program. 2. Knowledge of land market regulation tools in Ukraine, the place and role of the land management system in the effective organization of land use and regulation of land relations. 3. Ability to analyze and use in practice methods for modeling optimal management systems at different levels.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with basic knowledge of the theory of land management relations and theoretical foundations of land management; an overview of land management methods and the main areas of legal, social and economic features of land management for various purposes and functional use, the specifics of land management of various forms of ownership and modeling of the organizational structure of the land management system; as well as familiarization with the debatable issues of the formation of the agricultural land market. The course of the academic discipline "Theory of Land Management Relations and Land Management" is included in the list of mandatory and is designed to study the basic theoretical information on relations in land management and the formation of the land market in Ukraine. The discipline consists of two content modules. The first is devoted to familiarization with the basic concepts of land relations and their specifics, their distribution and redistribution. The distinctive signs of the concept of "land management" are indicated. The legislative basis of land management relations is considered and analyzed. The second module reveals the theoretical foundations of land resources management, namely: trends in management, the concept, purpose, essence and content of land resources management; the main tasks, principles and functions of land resources management.

Assessment methods and criteria
Final assessment in the form of an exam: the maximum number of points on the exam (conducted in written format) is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester ones is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated to the exam). Students who have scored less points during the semester than the critical minimum of 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 38 points. Conditions for admission to the exam: the recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who have scored less than 36 points (the recommended minimum), a mandatory condition for admission to the exam is writing essays on topics that have been missed or not sufficiently mastered.
