Learning outcomes

- possess knowledge, skills and abilities in the disciplines of the social and humanitarian cycle, such as: "Introduction to University Studies", etc.
- know the main categories and concepts related to the life of a person and society.
- be able to identify, analyze educational and scientific information, make well-founded conclusions on issues of professional activity.
- possess elementary skills in compiling written documents, correcting their content, systematizing materials necessary for work, and effectively organizing one's own educational activities.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form in students a system of knowledge about the theoretical, economic, legal and organizational foundations of entrepreneurial activity, to master the basic institutions of labor law, competencies and initial practical skills necessary for organizing entrepreneurship. The discipline is an organic combination of legal and economic knowledge necessary for the formation of general competencies in specialists of any field of knowledge, and includes two content modules:
1. Selected sections of labor law form in the student a set of knowledge and skills about: employment contract; working hours and rest time; wages; labor protection; labor discipline, disciplinary and material liability; protection of labor rights.
2. The basics of entrepreneurial activity form in the student a set of knowledge and skills about: entrepreneurship: forms, business models and ethical principles; technologies for creating one's own business; sources of formation and assessment of the effectiveness of resource use in entrepreneurial activity; assessment of the results of entrepreneurial activity; commercialization of ideas (products).

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of student work includes current control and semester control in the form of a credit. The maximum amount of points that a student can gain during study is 100 points, which are conditionally distributed 50/50 between the block "Selected sections of labor law" and "Fundamentals of entrepreneurial activity".
The student receives a credit based on the results of academic work in the semester (based on the results of current control), if the student receives at least 30 points from each of these blocks. Types of current control are: oral interview, tests on theoretical issues that are covered in lectures and studied by the student in independent work, solving problem situations in seminar classes, solving practical tasks during independent work. Based on the results of working out a missed lesson for good reasons, the teacher awards points. Points are not awarded for lessons not completed.
