PLO 8. To know and understand the structure of language, the general characteristics of literature as a verbal art, and the history of the Persian language and literature, and to be able to apply this knowledge in professional practice. PLO 12. Analyze Persian linguistic units, identify their interactions, and characterize the linguistic phenomena and processes that underlie them. PLO 13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and Persian fiction and folk literature, identifying their distinctive features and their place in the literary traditions of Iran and Ukraine. PLO 15. Conduct linguistic, literary, and specialized philological analyses of texts of various styles and genres. PLO 16. Know and understand the basic concepts, theories, and concepts of the chosen philological specialization, and be able to apply them in professional practice.

Full-time form

1) successful completion of the specialized course “Medieval Persian Literature”; 2) knowledge of the phonetics, vocabulary, and grammar of modern Persian, acquired through a practical Persian language course; 3) knowledge of literary terminology.

Мета дисципліни – формування в студентів комплексу знань, необхідних для читання і розуміння художніх текстів класичного періоду, що включає ознайомлення з історичними змінами в граматиці, що відбулися протягом новоіранського періоду розвитку іранської словесності. З огляду на великий обсяг і надзвичайну культурну цінність перськомовних поетичних текстів класичного періоду актуальність формування відповідної компетентності майбутніх фахівців із перської мови, спрямованої на подолання перешкод у процесі сприймання незнайомих текстів класичного періоду, не викликає сумніву. Дисципліна передбачає ознайомлення студентів із граматичними особливостями перської мови новоіранської доби розвитку іранської словесності у порівнянні із сучасною перською мовою на матеріалі поетичних текстів найвідоміших представників перської класичної поезії – Рудакі, Фердоусі, Хайяма, Аттара, Моуляві, Гафеза та ін. Дисципліна є складовою частиною вибіркового блоку «Іраністика: мовознавчі студії та переклад». Навчання відбувається у вигляді лекційних та практичних занять, передбачено самостійну роботу. Завершується дисципліна – заліком.

Practical sessions, independent study.

Throughout the semester, points are awarded for: Oral responses and participation in discussions (Learning Outcomes 1.1–4.1): 4 sessions, 5 points each. Written assignments (RN 1.1–4.2): 2 assignments worth 10 points each. Research assignment / presentation (RN 1.1–4.2): 2 assignments worth 10 points each. Module exams: 2 exams worth 10 points each. Final exam: 1 exam — 20 points. Grading criteria (max. points)5 points (oral) / 10 points (written): complete mastery of the material, well-reasoned arguments, independent judgment.4 points / 8–9 points: sufficient knowledge, but possible lack of reasoning or minor inaccuracies. 3 points / 6–7 points: general mastery of the material without depth of analysis, presence of significant inaccuracies. 1–2 points / 1–5 points: fragmentary knowledge, lack of independence in execution. Final assessment: pass/fail. A minimum of 60 points is required to receive a “pass.”
