PLO 2. 1. to know: - to have knowledge, skills and abilities in the disciplines of the social and humanitarian cycle, such as: "Introduction to University Studies" and others. - the main categories and concepts related to the life of a person and society. 2. to be able to: - identify, analyze educational and scientific information, make well-founded conclusions on issues of professional activity. 3. to have elementary skills: - to compile written documents, correct their content, systematize materials, necessary for work, effectively arrange one's own educational activities.

The discipline Selected Chapters of Labor Law and Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship" is a component of the professional training of specialists of the Bachelor's degree in all educational programs of the Institute of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and is taught in 6 (7 / 8) semesters - in accordance with the curriculum for a specific educational program. The constitutional principles of the implementation of the right to work and its main forms are revealed. Students study the legal norms that regulate the procedure for concluding, amending and terminating an employment contract as the main form of implementing the right to work. The legal principles of establishing and regulating the basic working conditions are outlined: working hours and rest periods; standardization and remuneration; labor protection, labor discipline. The discipline forms in students the economic, institutional and organizational foundations of entrepreneurial activity and is aimed at students' mastery of knowledge and initial practical skills about the economic nature of entrepreneurship, its forms and planning; innovative entrepreneurship; technologies for creating one's own business; state regulation of entrepreneurship; commercialization of scientific developments.

Since the discipline consists of two parts ("Selected Chapters of Labor Law" and "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship"), the total number of points that a student can receive for mastering each part is max. 50 points / min. 30 points. The student receives a credit for the results of the academic work in the semester (according to the results of current control), if he received at least 30 points from each of the blocks of the academic discipline "Selected Chapters of Labor Law and Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship". The specific weight of the learning outcomes in the final assessment, provided that they are mastered at the appropriate level, is as follows: – learning outcomes 1.1-1.5 (knowledge) – 40%; – learning outcomes 2.1-2.4 (skills) – 40%; – learning outcomes 4.1 (autonomy and responsibility) – 20%.
