Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge assessment is conducted according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level evaluation of the mastered material. This includes the assessment of theoretical training — learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1), accounting for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training — learning outcomes (skills 2.1; communication 3.1; autonomy and responsibility 4.1), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. The control work is administered in the form of a written test. The total score for the test is calculated based on the points awarded for each question or task, with the following correlation between points and the percentage of correct answers: 30 points – 98- 100% correct; 29 points – 95-97%; 28 points – 92-94%; 27 points – 89-91%; 26 points – 86-88%, and so forth. A student receives 0 points if fewer than 10% of the answers are correct. The final form of assessment is Interim Control (IC). Completing two control works is a mandatory requirement for the IC.
