            Methodology and methods of research of pedagogical phenomena and facts. Subject and objectives of higher education pedagogy. The system of higher education in Ukraine. Higher education didactics, learning process. procedure for determining the content of higher education. Forms of organization, methods of teaching in higher education, modern educational technologies. System of diagnostics of students' knowledge and skills in higher education institutions. Educational technologies, planning and organization of educational affairs. Psychological and pedagogical bases of formation of professional competence of a teacher of a higher education institution. Possession of methods and techniques of scientific and pedagogical research, storage, processing and presentation of information. Possession of skills of search, selection, processing, systematization of information for various types of classes, educational activities.

            Availability of conceptual scientific and practical knowledge, ability to critically comprehend theories, principles, methods and concepts in the field of professional activity and/or study; 2) availability of in-depth cognitive and practical skills, mastery and innovation at the level necessary to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional activity or study; ability to study with a significant degree of autonomy.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The mechanisms of organizing influence on the individual in the process of his/her education and training are revealed. There is a formation of pedagogical thinking, learning to analyze pedagogical reality, conscious mastery of professional and pedagogical skills. The content is revealed in two modules. The first module covers methodology, didactics, higher education, and the system of organizing educational work in higher education institutions. The second module covers the theory, methodology, and modern technologies of forming the pedagogical skills of a university teacher. An important place in the course is given to the acquisition of practical skills in professionally defining situations of teaching activities of a research and teaching staff member.
