The discipline is devoted to the study of the conceptual and methodological foundations of the formation of the IT project idea, the features of the analysis of the external environment of the future project. Within the scope of the discipline, the stages and processes of project concept formation from the business idea to the start of the project are considered. Namely: analysis of the problem area of the future project and its environment, formation of requirements for the project product, determination of project goals, conducting project analysis, conducting research, formation of project alternatives and project proposals, search for sources of project financing, development of IT project rationale.

Students can receive up to 3 points for each completed practical work (which does not exceed 12 points for the entire complex), as well as for each completed laboratory work up to 4 points, the last two laboratory work is evaluated up to 5 points (which does not exceed 30 points for the entire complex) . It is expected to perform two independent works with an assessment of up to 3 points and up to 5 points, respectively.
After completing ЗМ1 and ЗМ2, control works are conducted in the form of tests, which are evaluated up to 5 points each
