            1. Successful mastering of geological cycle courses: "Structural geology", "Stratigraphy", "Fundamentals of geophysics".
2. Successful completion of the course "Modelling of mineral deposits" or comparable experience in working with systems of three-dimensional modeling of deposits
mineral resources.
3. To have basic skills of working with electronic spreadsheets, geo-information systems.

            Course content

Familiarization with the basics of modeling the history of the development of sedimentary basins on the Schlumberger PetroMod device is taking place. Students acquire practical skills in building models of oil and gas generation potential, interpreting a large volume of geophysical and geological data, and building a structural model of the territory. As a result of the course, the student acquires the competence to build and defend an uncontroversial geological-geophysical model of the history of the development of a sedimentary basin and to assess the potential of its oil and gas potential.

Control is carried out according to the modular rating system and involves: implementation of a practical semester project (where students have
demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve the tasks using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher) and carrying out 2 written
modular control works. Final assessment is conducted in written form exam
