Learning outcomes
LO 1. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of natural sciences (physics, astronomy, chemistry, biology). To realize the significance of the achievements of natural sciences for the scientific understanding of the whole picture of the surrounding world.
LO 10. To know the goals of sustainable development and the possibilities of one's professional sphere to achieve them, including in Ukraine, for self-development,
preserving health, sustainable development of society and ensuring environmental safety.
LO 12. Develop projects and practical recommendations in the field of Earth sciences, educational projects and local development projects.
LO 13. Apply international sources of information on the development of natural and technical sciences, medicine, and international experience in environmental monitoring, work in an international context.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the basic school level of chemistry, biology.
2. The ability to independently apply knowledge from the school course of physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and other educational disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; to work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature.
3. Possession of elementary skills of comparative analysis, establishment of cause and effect relationships, as well as system analysis.
Course content
The discipline "Nutritology" (from Latin. Nutritio - nutrition) is a modern interdisciplinary science that studies the impact of nutrition on health, performance, development and prevention of human diseases.
The purpose of the course is to form a scientifically substantiated knowledge of rational, balanced and therapeutic and preventive nutrition, to learn to apply the principles of nutrition in professional and daily activities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation of the performance of tasks of practical works, modular control work,
credit . The final grade from the educational component, the final form of control for which credit is established, is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed learning outcomes. Scores below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final score.
It is mandatory to receive a positive final grade (60 points and above and "passed") to complete all practical work and write essays/presentations.
It is not allowed to retake the semester control in order to improve a positive grade.
