Learning outcomes
LO 05. To be able to conduct field and laboratory research, and organize their results. LO 07. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the landscape envelope and its components. LO 10. To know the goals of sustainable development and the possibilities of one's professional sphere to achieve them, including in Ukraine, for self-development, preservation of health, sustainable development of society, and ensuring environmental safety. LO12. Develop projects and practical recommendations in the field of earth sciences, educational projects and local development projects.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Know the theoretical foundations of natural disciplines - physics, chemistry, geology, hydrology, meteorology, soil science, biogeography and practical skills of field natural research gained in educational practice. 2) be able to observe and analyze the environmental situation on different information sections, identify the main environmental problems and spatial conflicts of nature management. 3) have the skills of analyzing cartographic materials, materials of remote sensing and construction of thematic maps.
Course content
Discipline "Urboecology" is a modern direction of environmental science that studies the interaction of man, society and the natural environment in the city. It forms an understanding of how urbanization affects ecosystems, climate, resources and quality of life, and teaches ways of greening the urban environment. The purpose of the course is to form students' knowledge of the patterns of functioning of urban ecosystems, environmental problems of urbanized territories and methods of solving them on the basis of sustainable development

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation of the performance of practical work, consultations, credit. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less than 36 points (recommended minimum), writing essays on issues of missed or insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to the credit.
