Learning outcomes
PR01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of natural sciences (physics, astronomy, chemistry, biology).
PR 05. Be able to conduct field and laboratory research, organize their results.
PR 10. To know the goals of sustainable development and the possibilities of one's professional sphere to achieve them, including in Ukraine, for self-development, preservation of health, sustainable development of society, and ensuring environmental safety.
PR13. Apply international sources of information on the development of natural and technical sciences, medicine, and international experience in environmental monitoring, work in an international context.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) integrated study of the cycle of natural disciplines "Astronomy", "Physics", "Geology", "Chemistry", "Meteorology", "Biology", "Ecology".
2) practical studies of natural processes and phenomena.
Course content
The discipline "Environmental Monitoring" is key in the training of experts in the field of ecology, geography, nature management, environmental protection. Its purpose is to teach students to observe, analyze and evaluate the environment, identify negative changes and predict their development to make decisions on its protection and restoration.

Surveys in test and written form, MKW, performance of home independent and practical work, exam
The evaluation is based on a 100-point scale. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 60 points / 36 points. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student in the exam is 40 points / 24 points.
