PR07. To participate in the development of programs and strategies of urban and regional development, planning of territories of different hierarchical levels. PR09. To carry out a professional assessment of programs, strategies and plans for the development of territories, to carry out their geo-ecological and socio-economic examination and monitoring.

1. Успішне вивчення навчальної дисципліни «Теорії просторової організації». 2. Знання основних теорій, концепцій та підходів у сфері просторового (міського) планування, основних засад законодавства України щодо містобудівної діяльності.
Course content
The academic discipline involves studying approaches and concepts of participatory urban planning, institutional foundations for implementing the principles of participation in urban planning, the role and interaction of various actors in resolving urban conflicts, using the potential of participatory planning in the process of urban regeneration, as well as in-depth familiarization with various tools of participation in urban planning, in particular, conducting public hearings, participatory budgeting, joint research of urban space, participatory mapping, tactical urbanism, assessing their effectiveness and facilitating. There are 2 substantive parts: Part 1. Scientific and institutional foundations of participatory urban planning Part 2. Participation tools in urban planning

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminar classes, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Work in seminar classes is evaluated upon completion, in accordance with the schedule of seminar classes. Thematic control works are conducted in the form of tests. Learning outcomes, provided they are mastered at the appropriate level, are evaluated as follows: 1. Reports and discussions at seminars - from 12 to 20 points. 2. Creation and defense of presentations - from 12 to 20 points. 3. Thematic test papers - from 12 to 20 points. The final evaluation in the form of credit is conducted in written format. The maximum number of points during crediting is 40, the minimum number of points added to semester credits is 24 (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for crediting).
