Learning outcomes
Conduct analysis and assessment of injuries in the field of professional activity. Conduct assessment of the technical and organizational level of the workplace. Organize certification of workplaces. Distinguish factors that affect working conditions. Devel oping practical skills in students to conduct injury analysis in the field of professional activity, namely in field conditions during measurement work and in office premises during design work. Demonstrate an understanding of personal responsibility for professional decisions that may affect the safe/unsafe working conditions of professionals in the field of geodesy and land management.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of basic theoretical provisions and practical results directly related to the course program.
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geodetic and land management disciplines.
3. Ability to analyze and use in practice skills in working with legislative, legal and regulatory documentation in the land management sector.
Course content
The course of the academic discipline is designed to study basic theoretical information on labor protection in the industry and civil defense by students of the specialty - Geodesy and Land Management, educational program - Land Management and Cadastre; An analysis of the system of measures of a legal, socio-economic, organizational-technical, sanitary-hygienic and medical-prophylactic nature is provided, aimed at maintaining healthy and safe working conditions for specialists in the industry.
The discipline consists of two content modules.
The first is devoted to familiarization with the basic concepts of occupational safety, legal and organizational issues of labor protection in the industry and the emergence of negative factors affecting the human body during work, as well as an analysis of injuries during production processes; it is dedicated to outlining the rights and obligations of enterprise managers and specialists.
The second module reveals the features of civil defense during military operations.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course has a single content part. Classes are held in the form of lectures, practical sessions. Tests, practical work and the final module test are conducted after the relevant topics have been covered. The course ends with a test. For students who have not reached the minimum grade level (60% of the maximum possible number of points) during the semester, a final survey is conducted, the maximum grade for which may not exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale). A condition for obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, while the grade for learning outcomes provided for in paragraphs 2 and 3 cannot be less than 50% of the maximum level (at least 24 and 13 points, respectively).
