Assessment methods and criteria
The course includes one substantive learning module. Classes are held in the form of lectures, practical classes and independent homework. The course ends with an exam (in the 1st semester).
During the semester, after completion of the relevant topics, thematic written tests are conducted. To determine the level of achievement of learning outcomes, students demonstrate the results of practical work, their independent work and acquired skills during practical classes.
For students who have not reached the minimum grade level (60% of the maximum possible number of points) during the semester, a final test is conducted, the maximum grade for which may not exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale).
The condition for obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points.
