Learning outcomes
Formation among students of a comprehensive and holistic system of knowledge regarding the methodology and organization of spatial planning and the organization of territorial development in Ukraine. Mastering the methodology and techniques of spatial planning, cadastre, methods of evaluation and use of materials from modern surveys and surveys, performing a set of works to create a comprehensive plan for the development of territorial communities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- successful mastery of the disciplines: "National Geospatial Data Infrastructure", "Land Monitoring and Protection", "Project Management in Geodesy and Land Management and Related Industries", "Geospatial Analysis and Modeling", "Cadastral Administration", "Normative and Technical Support of Activities". - knowledge of the theoretical foundations of higher mathematics, engineering and computer graphics, the foundations of geographic information systems and technologies. - possession of mathematical modeling skills, knowledge of GIS information system.
Course content
Definition and essence of spatial planning of territories. Purpose, principles, tasks and regulatory framework of spatial planning of territories. Urban planning cadastre and its role in the system of spatial planning and organization of territorial development. Cadastral systems and geospatial data infrastructure as components of information support for spatial planning of territories. Geodetic support in spatial planning of territories. Topographic and cartographic basis and requirements for it. The relationship between land management and spatial planning of territories, purpose and planning of the organization of the use of territories. Consistency of urban planning and land management documentation. General plan of the settlement. Detailed plan of a settlement. Comprehensive plan of spatial development of territories as a new main type of urban planning and land management documentation. Geographic information systems in spatial planning of territories. Design solutions in spatial planning of territories, consideration and coordination of design solutions with existing urban planning documentation. Detailing the features of individual types of urban planning documentation. Modern challenges in the field of spatial planning and organization of land use.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical work, consultations, exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
The course includes one substantive learning module. Classes are held in the form of lectures, practical classes and independent homework. The course ends with an exam (in the 1st semester). During the semester, after completion of the relevant topics, thematic written tests are conducted. To determine the level of achievement of learning outcomes, students demonstrate the results of practical work, their independent work and acquired skills during practical classes. For students who have not reached the minimum grade level (60% of the maximum possible number of points) during the semester, a final test is conducted, the maximum grade for which may not exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale). The condition for obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points.
