Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geography, hydrology, mathematical statistics, economic theory; Possession of elementary skills of hydrological and water balance calculations, statistical processing of data series.
Course content
this academic discipline is devoted to formation students have holistic systemic ideas about natural, economic, managerial, technical prerequisites for the development of the water management complex of Ukraine, current state water use. In the course of study, students learn to analyze the theory and practice of sustainable development of water use; use water resources assessment methods; acquire skills in analyzing the efficiency of economic mechanisms rational water use.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment is carried out in the form of a written test. The maximum number of points during the test is 40, the minimum number of points added to the semester points is 24 (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the test). The final grade for the discipline consists of the points scored based on the results of the semester control for the first and second parts and the points of the final test.
