            1. To know the key provisions of the theoretical foundations of the disciplines of the physical-geographic cycle, which are taught during the 1st-III semesters (geology, meteorology, hydrology and oceanology, soil science, biogeography, geomorphology, the basics of geoecology, physical geography of continents and oceans, etc.); 2. To be able to apply the principles, approaches and methods of learning the physical and geographical organization of territories and the space of existence of landscapes; 3. Possess methods of geographic analysis and synthesis, basic knowledge of territory mapping, methods of statistical and mathematical analysis; 4. To have tools for searching for landscape information and data in various information

            Course content

The range of theoretical and applied problems developed by modern landscape science is highlighted, as well as the content and approaches of its individual directions - scientific (geophysics, geochemistry, landscape aesthetics, cultural, historical, anthropogenic landscape science, etc.) and applied (landscape substantiation of territorial planning, nature management projects) , environmental expertise and audit, environmental management, etc.).

For students who scored a total of less than 36 points (recommended minimum), a mandatory condition for admission to the exam is to write essays on issues of missed or insufficiently mastered topics. The final evaluation in the form of an exam is conducted in a written format. The maximum number of points during the exam is 40, the minimum number of points added to semester points is 24 (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam).
