            LO01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences.
LO04. Use information technologies, cartographic and geo-informational models in the field of Earth sciences, in particular in soil science.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            Master the disciplines "Spatial and landscape planning", "Fundamentals of landscape ecology". Be able to research and analyze the social, historical, ethnographic conditions of cross-border territories, evaluate natural conditions and resources, develop a strategy for the development of these territories and communities. Possess GIS, skills in the analysis of cartographic materials, materials of remote sensing of the Earth and construction of thematic maps.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The content of the discipline reveals the theoretical-methodical and applied issues of spatial planning of cross-border territories using regulatory requirements, analysis of the natural potential of the territory and development of spatial development projects.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Examination in test, oral and written form. The maximum number of points on the credit is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 24 points. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the credit. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points.
