            Course content

This educational discipline is devoted to the study of methods and methods of distribution of geographical information obtained as a result of analysis and synthesis of data obtained from various sources (printed, stock, etc.) or as a result of own research activities. The discipline is aimed at the formation of special professional, social and personal competencies in students, the accumulation of knowledge about the possibility of critical thinking in matters of formation, presentation and dissemination of information. Separate components of the discipline are the study of requirements for the content and structure of scientific texts - articles, theses, reports and presentation materials.
The functional block of the discipline involves the mastery of such components as the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences, the ability to apply simple quantitative and qualitative methods in the study of geosystems, the ability to independently investigate and analyze spatio-temporal changes in the parameters of geocomponents for the purposes of successful professional activity in the field of natural sciences.
