            The discipline "Selected sections of labor law and the basics of entrepreneurial activity" is based on the knowledge gained by students in the study of normative economic, social and humanitarian disciplines of the relevant fields of knowledge and is based on knowledge gained from secondary school in such subjects as the basis of jurisprudence.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The course of the discipline consists of two content modules:
1. Fundamentals of entrepreneurial activity. The economic nature of entrepreneurship, its content, functions, types and legal forms, social, ethical and cultural principles of modern business activity are revealed, the peculiarities of the external business environment are revealed, the peculiarities of planning of business activity and the importance of innovative entrepreneurship are investigated.
2. Selected sections of labor law. The constitutional principles of exercising the right to work and its main forms are revealed. Students study the rules of law that regulate the procedure for concluding, changing and terminating the employment contract as the main form of realization of the right to work. Legal principles of establishment and regulation of basic working conditions are studied: working time and rest time; normalization and remuneration; labor protection, discipline of labor. The grounds and procedure for bringing an employee to legal responsibility for non -performance or improper performance of their work duties (disciplinary responsibility, liability) are revealed. The legal bases of protection of labor rights in Ukraine are studied.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Test and written examinations, рreparation of seminar tasks, control test examinations. The maximum number of credit points is 40 points, the minimum number of points to be added to semester credits is 24 points.
Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points, are not allowed to take the test. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points.
