Course content
This discipline is devoted to the study of the basic theoretical and methodological foundations of remote sensing and applied aspects of the use of remote methods to the study of landscapes, their components, assessment of environmental status and expert forecasting of their changes. The discipline is aimed at developing students' search, critical assessment, preparation, organization and analysis of DDZ in order to solve theoretical and methodological and applied problems in the field of natural geography. The functional block of the discipline involves acquaintance with the main types and sources of DDZ, work with DDZ Landsat and Sentinel, their derivatives, software and algorithms used in the modern practice of DDZ processing.
