            Course content

The course "Physics with the basics of geophysics" includes the study of sections: classical mechanics, molecular physics, electrodynamics, optics, atomic and nuclear physics. The main attention of the course is given to consideration of the physical content of basic concepts, laws and phenomena. As part of the course, students get acquainted with the classical and latest achievements of physics. Special attention of the course is drawn to the application of the laws of physics to describe and explain natural phenomena that are of interest to students of the geography faculty. In the practical classes of the course, students have the opportunity to solve problems that are also of geophysical interest.
