PRN 8. Select and apply modern educational technologies and methods to form students' subject competencies and conduct self-analysis of lesson effectiveness PRN 17. Develop students' ability to use geographical and cartographic language in the educational process PRN 22. Know, understand and demonstrate the ability to implement theoretical and methodological principles of teaching geography for the implementation of the educational program in a basic/specialized secondary school. Use methods and data of natural/social sciences, information technologies, cartographic and geoinformation models in the fields of the subject area of geographical sciences and carry out research of the geographical envelope

Course content
Studying the academic discipline allows students to master the knowledge and skills of analysis, modeling, optimization, generalization and dissemination of information using modern information technologies. Partial educational goals of the discipline are to provide in-depth knowledge of the concept of formalized representation of geoobjects and phenomena using GIS.
