            1. Knowledge of journalistic fundamentals;

            Course content
        
        
            During the study, students master the specifics of media production of scientific materials for different types of platforms. This course expands intellectual horizons, forms the ability to analyse large volumes of information and present research findings according to the type of media; work in a team, and be responsible for the final product. The course includes knowledge of the specifics of journalism analytics, narrative journalism, diversity of its genres, skills of working with various sources of information, open databases data, and with experts; skills of producing a competitive and socially beneficial final product of the popular science genre.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Knowledge monitoring is carried out according to the ECTS system, which includes a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1, 1.2), which accounts for 30% of the total score and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.4, communication 3.1, 3.2, autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which accounts for 70% of the total score.
