            05. To possess at the operational level the methods of observation, description, identification, classification, cultivation of ornamental plants and plant garden and park groups, maintenance of their decorativeness, stability and stability in the conditions of the complex green zone of the city.
16. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of the natural sciences, form an idea about the preservation of biological diversity to increase the productivity, increase the stability and ecological plasticity of artificial phytocenoses and natural ecosystems in modern urban landscapes under global climate change.

            Course content
        
        
            The main tasks of  the discipline "Biochemistry of plants" are to form an idea about the peculiarities of the structure and functioning of various classes of biochemical compounds of the plant organism; develop an understanding of the biochemical adaptation of plants to adverse environmental factors; to reveal the possibilities of practical use of substances of secondary metabolism of plants in forestry and horticulture, recreational forestry and horticulture; promote the development of students' analytical thinking regarding the issues of rational use of plant natural resources in horticulture, greening and ornamental plant production.
