Course content
The course "Fundamentals of Cell Cultivation" covers the issues of obtaining, propagating and using plant and animal cell cultures, as well as their waste products. This discipline examines the regularities of regulating the reproduction, maturation, aging and elimination of the cell population; conditions for culturing cells and tissues in vitro; methods of regulating the conditions for growing in vitro cultures in order to increase the efficiency of an existing culture or induce cell development in a new desired direction. The knowledge obtained can be used in biotechnological, pharmacological, and medical research involving modern principles of cell technologies.
